The house is not co-ed, the pod is co-ed. Today we did clean the house, it looks quite "nice" with all of our decorations that we found everywhere. We swept our room, the hallway, the stairs, porch, sidewalk, bathroom, and kitchen. The bar only has 1 or 2 Corps nights a week, and yes i beleive i know that alcohol costs money, I am good at controlling my money.
We shop once a week and are given $5 per person per day. That amount will go down about 50 cents once we are out on spike. We all make a shopping list together and decide what we want for the meals. For Breakfast we have eggs, juice, bread, and cereal. Lunch consists of lunch meats, PB&J, and pudding. Dinners we bought chicken breasts, taco stuff, pizzas, and milk. For cooking we have the guy from El Paso that likes to cook. Tonight he made Tacos with fresh meat and made the seasoning himself and added some fresh lettuce. For the shells he made hard taco shells from soft flour tortillas. It was a great dinner. He will probably be doing most of the cooking unless he is tired and the rest of us clean all of the dishes right afterwards. We all sat around the dining room table and ate together.
Room-mates were chosen by us putting our gear on a bed and getting who ever was in the other bed as a room-mate. Love yall.
